Tutoring Resources

Kennesaw State University and the Office of Adult and Commuter Student Affairs offer online academic tutoring services for students who cannot access face-to-face tutoring. Students have access to a wide variety of virtual tutoring services at KSU: 

    Coles College of Business Tutoring

      The Coles College of Business Undergraduate Tutoring Center is available to help students with courses offered by Coles College. Sessions are available only on an appointment basis.

      The following courses are covered by the Coles Tutoring Center: ACCT 2100, 2101, 2200, 3100 ECON 2100, 2200, 2300, 3300 FIN 3100 MGT 3200

      • Virtual Science and Math Tutoring

        The VSC takes place inside KSU's D2L environment. Subject specific hours for tutoring can be found under the Subject Schedule section of the SMART Center's website and will be updated daily as the SMART center adds new hours and tutors. If you are looking for a specific tutor, please email smart@kennesaw.edu for assistance locating their hours. Further information on using the VSC will be located in the D2L section and can be accessed once your registration has been processed. 
        As always, the SMART Center remains a free, drop-in service with a mission to help you perform to the best of your abilities in your courses.

          The College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) Tutoring Lab welcomes all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in ACST, CS, CSE, IT, CGDD & SWE courses! The CCSE Tutoring Lab is an appointment-based tutoring system using the EAB Advising platform. To schedule an appointment, please use EAB Advising platform. If you need help when no tutor is available, please see the Lab Manager in the Main Lab Center for assistance.

            The KSU Writing Center provides one-on-one online writing help in any subject, at any level, and at any stage of the writing process. Specialized support is available for graduate students and students whose primary language is not English.

            Synchronous "Live Feedback" sessions are available seven days a week and offer audio and visual feeds, a live chat box, and a white board that students and their writing assistants can use to interact in real time.

            Asynchronous "Written Feedback" is offered five days a week and is reserved for students in 100% online degree programs. Students upload assignment guidelines and drafts to receive feedback from a writing assistant within 48 hours of their scheduled appointment.
